Now then, this is only the second time in my time here that I've actually won a sprite comp, so I'd like to pick something I want, and I think a lot of you may like what I picked. I hope none of you are irritated with me for picking something completely of my own that nobody else agreed with, but you must understand I may never win again.


Following up on the heels of the Cackletta sprite comp, I thought it would only be fitting to have a Bowletta competition. That way, we'd have TWO whole batches of nice sprites from the final bosses of Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. Plus, in a way, it bridges the gap between oldskool Mario and Superstar Saga: Bowletta has the body of Bowser, with features of Cackletta.

So yes, it should be an interesting competition considering the number of good sprites we got in the last comp.

Yeah, sorry if I sound all ME ME ME in that last post. But it's not often I get to choose a topic and when that chance presents itself, I usually can't resist doing the comp I want.

Well I started mine in first period at school today and am very pleased with how it turned out. But I couldn't download an FTP program to upload it, so I'd be able to finish it at home. Then nobody had any floppy disks. Then I couldn't email it to myself because the school browsers mysteriously wouldn't let Hotmail's attach feature work. Then I tried Outlook express but it froze. Then I tried uploading it to the fanart section of Penguinia but it's broken. Then I regged a village photos account but it had to be GIF or JPG and it's currently BMP with no way to change it using the school software.

Am I cursed or what? I'll bring a floppy and save it tomorrow.
