MFGG Tennis, Sign up / Ideas needed

Okay I've just been thinking about this for the past few weeks and I figured hell, why not give it a go? I need ideas. The more good ideas I get from you...the better chance you get a good part in the game...I guess.

The story I have picked out is a bunch of newbies challenge Mario to a tournament. Since if it has Mario it can go on MFGG. I'd also be interested in people getting some good gameplay things to work.

Anyway all I know is I'll use these kind of courts.

Requirements
You need to be kinda old. Not like anyone new. I'll say been here for about a year, unless your popular enough.
You MUST make your own sprites. Doing this I feel shows how much you want to be in the game. I'm using size sprites and I need the fallowing poses:

Serving - Font and back
Hitting - front and back
Wining animation front and back
Losing animation front and back
Running animation front and back
Idle pose - front and back
Icon

I know it's alot but it's all necessary. I'm also gonna say no edits. Maybe if it's truely an edit, but it has to be different winning and losing poses.


Anyone like this idea? Anyone got ideas?

Anything with MFGG and sprites involved tends to fail.

Tends, would be the key word there.

I actually built a mario tennis engine resembling mario tennis gb like a week ago, I'll probably complete it for the heck of it.

Do I have permission to sign up =x?

That's why they fail. We aren't Nintendo, we don't all make our own sprites. As such, games with us in it are rare.

Did you already make an engine, cause otherwise I could pass it on to you :x, I've tried using as many real physics as I could think of, I'm trying to work on getting the 360 'slice'ish' to work right

Oh, please don't make us 8 bit.

This will be hard to make a sprite for Yoshiman when they're that small.

He told me to make it not 8bit. The sprites are going good so far =D

I'm pretty sure he isn't confined to the smallest dimensions of mario.. and yoshiman is pretty thin from what I remember o.o

You could edit, buuuut you gotta make new winning and losing poses.

Yeah, I could make him a bit bigger. And skinniness isn't the problem, it's tallness.
