Okay, I'll tell you what I think of it.
1. WAV musics is what makes the game a very big file. And nobody likes WAV musics anyway. What I suggest is that you look for the XMs or S3Ms of musics to make a slightly less hassle. What's easier is that you use MIDIs of the files. You can find them at
http://www.vgmusic.com.
2. Real choppy gameplay. The battle is real glitched, I mean, you can hit the attack button again and dodge a fireball and skip turns. What you should consider doing is learning turn-based battle systems. But it'll take time. And the more time you spend, the better it becomes when the final version hits.
3. Animation. The animation is EXTREMELY choppy. Click on the sprite, and modify all of the hotspots to 0,0 for all animations to make it nice and clean. That way, the main character won't be in all different positions when it turns directions. The way it looks now, he's moved all over to the left when you turn left. So yeah, you should fix that.
