Old-school Mario (added), With a vengeance

These are some edits of the original Super Mario Bros Mario... with fighting animations. I also included the normal animations (cause I'm so nice):

That Upper Cut looks like he's punching himself in the face.

Heh, yeah, it kinda does. The problem with working with these tiny 8-bit sprites is every pixel counts... and with these sort of moves, a misplaced pixel can make for an awkward sprite.

For example, I spent forever trying to make Mario look mad in his taunt, but it always came out as him looking asian, asleep, or wide-eyed.
