Is this a good idea for my game?

One of the power-ups is Veggie Mario. He can pick up veggies from anywhere (like Peach in SSB Melee) And throw them. This is what he looks like in that mode:



Has anyone thought of the idea before? If so I'm sorry. If not is it a good idea?

How does he look different than Mario? And yes it sounds interesting.

Pretty good idea. Make it so some veggies have different faces. (the happier they are, the further you can throw them) I could try to give you some ideas for your game if you want. (Through AIM, if you wanna know my AIM name then PM me)

Um...the only difference is colors. But the only difference with Fire Mario is colors!

What is his face darker or something? Make it noticable, like he has a carrot for a hat or something.

I like the idea, but there isn't that much of a difference between SMB2 colors and SMW colors.

Stick a farmer's hat and a corncob pipe on him, and you've got an excellent Farmer Mario to serve as Veggie Mario

i think it makes perfect sence, just make the color change more obvious.

No, just depends where you use it.

Fire Mario had RADICALLY different coloring for immediate distinction.

@Noveroth, Draco: I think you misunderstand what I mean. I mean he's saying that since Fire Mario is just a color change and you can still tell the difference, that you'll be able to tell the difference even if the color change is pretty minimal.

Okay yeah the colour change isn't obvious enough...

Why don't you give him bunny ears like the thing from Mario Land 2?!

Cause like, Rabbits like vegetables. So bunny ears Mario could pick up the vegetables, just make sure carrots are included, heh!

If such a thing was included, you'd need either text in the game telling you you can now pick up vegetables, or for the leaves to change colour or flash or something when in that mode so that you'd be able to tell what you can now do, ya know?

Veggie Mario... good idea, but really needs to look more different than a different coloured mario. I mean think about it, SML2 has fire mario with a hat, feather mario gives him a cape (SMW) etc.

I think it would also be cool to have Dr mario, and Mario from wrecking crew too.

Give him sprouts or grass instead of a hat.

I like my bunny ears idea better. =P
