Heya everyone.

My current assignment in college is to create a product packaging, so I've been designing a drinks container for young women, about 18-21 year olds(I know you have to be 21 to drink in America but here it's 18 to buy the drink. Although 4 to actually drink it, lol), so I wanted it to have style to it, but also be nice and simple, so I came up with this saucy little chick on Illustrator and I'm pretty proud of her. The minimalism makes it look so modern and I'm sure it'd be appealing to young women. Probably give them the impression that drinking it makes them a sexah badass chick. LoL. This will probably become part of the logo that sits on the label.

This was done with vector based art, no drawing ans scanning, graphic pens or mosueart, so it was much harder, but it will have a nice clean edge at any resolution, it can be enlarged to the highest DPI a printer can handle or even be made so huge so as to fill an entire wall, but it wouldn't blur or pixellate at all, instead it'd have a clean cut edge in detail every time.

I need a name for the drink too, any suggestions?

I think that's sort of a male generated view of what a woman would want... I could understand that on a bottle of lotion and it would convey the sort of sexah message, but on a bottle of booze... it implies maybe that you'll be so drunk you'll be kissing other chicks... or that it's make you into an inhibitionless man toy... inh which case you could call it Man Toy. That's a pretty sweet name.

But that asides, it's a great face... and, y'know, if you made it like a pink beer it would fit the stereotypical saucy girl thing pretty good. ACTUALLY, If you made it a bottle with a glass divider running right through the middle... and on one side you have a pink booxe of sorts, and on the other it's full of white pop rocks... you could call it "Razzle Dazzle"... sounds like something you'd find in Japan alright.

Not really. I based the design on what the girls I see around tend to draw and buy. Whilst guys are interested in pictures of girls they like girls usually tend to be more interested in pictures of what they want to look like, lol.

A lot of girls in England seem to have this whole dark chick thing going on at the moment where they try to be all sort of cute but 'dark', like with the whole black lipstick and crap but the innocense as well, so that's why I did the big cute eyes and the little pouty lips. The Monroe mole isn't something Men seem to go for either but girls seem to think they're uber cool.

Yah I'm pretty sure the background is gonna be pink. And a sort of flowy typeface to be used. I'll probably change the shape of the bottle too.

it is sort of like the sexy/ badass attitude image that you see on a lot of products these days, although, if you think about it it is sort of like the young, preteen girl image type stuff, like you see in the stores in the mall ( idk...Glitter or whatever they're called) but for alchohol...maybe...

Because it's vector based art. Designed for printing not for showing on screen. anti aliasing it would make it pixel based meaning it'd be ****ty and blurry on paper or cut into vinyl. When exporting the gif file from Illustrator it doesn't anti-alias it, which makes life a lot easier when importing it into Photoshop, so you can do the anti-aliasing afterwards. Bedises, anti-aliasing is gimmicky.
