This is mainly rough character sketches I did at work...when I should have been working.

Uhh, this is going to sound suckup-ey and ammature, but where are a few places you got inspiration or techniques from? :O

Yeah, that's a Furby. They promote bad poetry writing.

Usually I just get inspiration for stuff off the top of my head, occasionally using videogame/comic characters as a base for some design elements.

As for techniques, it's mostly been trial and error for me. If I'm working on a pose I haven't done before, usually I look up a photo/drawing in a similar pose to get down the proportions the best I can. Other than that....um....magical pencils. Yeah.

I love all of those. Your style is awesome, inspiring in a sense. Something bothers me about Madcap's right eye and his mouth, though. Iunno, it's probably just me.

3D effect?

I dunno. For some reason, I can always see some kind of third dimension in your art (yano, cube > square, sphere/cylinder > circle and the like). Mine just looks flat compared to this.
