I just would have liked it better if you were more specific on what exactly was ugly as sin. And maybe it is my worst work ever. But there was something I liked in it's... potential, more then it's actual presentation, what My Imagination brought about in looking at it, imagining it to be something real. Have you ever snuck up to someone when they were doing something, and scared them? Have they ever said "god daaaaaamn, you mother ******. What didja do that for?" Maybe it's my redneck upbringing. If you can't accept negative comments such as that, then you really should not be posting your artwork. Not everyone is going to explain why they are disappointed in your picture and there is no possible way to force them to do so. And to be honest, you should also be forcing people who post positively to explain why they like your work instead of just saying they like it and therefore not being anymore helpful than someone who posted negatively without explanation. -------------------- Apologies for the nostalgia.

SP does have a point. Here is my envisioning of how to layout a comment:

Saying something is ugly doesn't help, you need to get right to the details and not just note what they DID do that's so bad, but also what they SHOULD have done to make it better.
