He could always show his art if he wanted to. I like it. He is young around 12-13 and he isnt supposed to have godly art skills. He wants a chance to show off some of his work, so let him. It isn't exactly abusement of the uploading function if its for a good cause.

There are few 11-14 yr. olds on DA who are EXCELLENT artists (Like this one), but hey, they could be lying >.>. But to be honest, I think the length of time the person has been drawing depends on how good they are(I've been drawing for like 6-7 years now).

Acyualy, I admit it. Your right. I, am a 12 year old kid new to drawing. Anyway, here's "Sonic".

Proportions needs lotsa work. His quills aren't that long or thick. You shouldn't see the right side of Sonic's body. His hands are WAY too big and the fingers could use some work, mosty either too big or too skinny. The brown part of his left ear is too small. His nose is far too long and you need to become friends with the Polygonal Lasso tool in Photshop. Other than that it's not that bad.
