The Mario Smileys, Are no Longer Decapitated.

Like always, colors are off because it's an effing .gif. But you can still like them, because I made them in *gasp* Paint. Paint is evil.

His body is too small but other than that it's good

Really? I thought it was perfect size but oh well.

Much like Slamman said, the body is a little to small, but good overall.

I don't think it was much of an effort. I'd feel differently if you sprited the heads yourself.

But the whole point is that the smileys have bodies.

It's an okay sprite but have many errors.

1)The spriting style between the heads and the body doesnt seem to match.
2) Body too small if you look at the heads
3) Woulda look nicer if you made the heads from scratch instead of copying pasting them.

So you could have used the expressions with heads made from scratch instead of copying/pasting emoticons that don't match with the body well.

1) They used to. It's because .gif.'s in Paint suck.
2) I'm sorry people, i don't see it. I guess I sprite Mario with a small body.
3) I seem to recall stating that the whole purpose was to take the pre-made emoticons and sprite bodies for the poor things.

But whatever.

Use PNG instead. Paint converts .bmps into .gifs badly, but converting it to .png works fine.

Nice , but try working on the shape of mario's body to match with the head and use some shading for the hands and a better one for the overals.

I think the body is too big.

How do I get Photobucket to upload .png's? I tried, and it just made it a .bmp.

I know. I deleted the .gif accidently. Now all I've got is a .bmp pretending to be a .png.

Is there any way we can see the smilies?

Every graphics program I have ever used can convert any reasonable sprite to a GIF with no noticable color loss.

Not necessarily a web-safe GIF, but still.

The one exception is that MGI Photosuite couldn't get a Thunder Dragon someone drew to convert to 256 properly
