Bass For A Song, Might count as a spoiler

The theme for the final boss fight in Yoshi's Island. However, I only have the bass

Since I feel like making every seperate part of this song perfect one at a time, can you tell me if it sounds all right or not?

Actually... That's pretty damn cool...

However, I think it sounds a little annoying during those fast repeating parts...

Dunno how to explain that sentence anybetter, but oh well. Maybe with the rest added onto it, it will sound different. (Btw, it WILL be longer right?)

And yeah, the lower notes (I think it's C#5, must check) sound very strange when rapidly followed by another note, I'll see if I can fix that.

Where the heck ARE you getting these samples? I couldn't find an electric guitar sample on modarchive.com!

Sounds fine to me, but you really do need drums. Is it supposed to sound remixy? Because it kind of does, anyway, add drums and some proper bass, since that's not bass. That's a guitar. Perhaps I should post the Baby Bowser remake I started ages ago?

It's a bass guitar... the low notes sound good, the high notes don't, isn't that sort of a bass?

No no no, a Bass guitar is an actual kind of instrument, not a pitch or way it sounds. That particular instrument is just your average electric guitar. This is a bass guitar.

Well, the instruments are different. It's easy to tell, just because an electric guitar is low doesn't make it a bass guitar. Some Piano samples sound better low than high, but it doesn't make them bass guitars. Bass guitars sound...bassy, but electric guitars sound loud and...I dunno. Work it out.

Maybe I should look it up sometime, would help a musician to know what the instruments are called. O.O;
