Finally, it took ages, but given the boredom of my time away, I had plenty of time to sprite this.

It's Kritter, done in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga style, as most of my sprites are as of late. I love it, I created this for a game called "Ganonkrit", which is a ripoff of the Ganondorf fight in Ocarina of Time. The original sprite was a recoloured M&L Magikoopa, but it wasn't good enough so I made my own sprite. The animations go like this:

- Basic standing animation (for when he's not doing anything)
- Attack Animation (looks cool, the twirling is just showing off, but then he attacks with a fireball)
- Charging up (this is for the super attack, it draws in the stars from the background and uses them for a mega attack (looks cool))
- Block attack (this is for when the attack is blocked and returned, thus starting off the "tennis" match like in OOT)
- Injured (when he gets hit with the attack, he's momentarily disabled, and vulnerable).

Anyway, i'm quite happy with the way this turned out, I may do more animations, and a follow up to Ganonkrit? Who knows...

Are you going to be using the Ganonkrit game in Mario Land?

Yeah, the plan is to have it as an unlockable thing once you've played all minigames, or something like that, and if you beat it, you get something very good.

Actually that was kind of intentional, the place where the battle takes place is in a void, where it's all dark blue and the background is nothing but stars. Plus red is bound to look darker than the usual blue, and Kritter has a different "skin" tone.

M&L has flashy nice colors even if your character has darker ones.
many characters don't have the same palletes in all game you know...

I don't really care about the colours, if I was going to be porting it to ML:SS somehow I probably would, but since i'm making it for my own game, I choose the colours, whether they're vibrant or not.
