How far has Eno come?

I am so gonna get abuse for making a topic that's a ripoff of SP's, Kritters AND Citrus's, since it'll probably turn into a fad :P But I just want to see how far I've went as well, and see if there's an improvement...



The older things are nearer the top while newer stuff is near the bottom.

Actually, it looks as if you haven't come THAT far, but only because your earlier stuff is great to begin with. To me, at least, it all seems to be at a similar stage of greatness.

I still love that older mario, though. (the one you used as aim buddy icon, animated throwing a fireball kamehameha style)

Well, things such as the Terra sprite (Guy with long green hair beside King Bob-omb)and my latest Mario (The one below Terra) are a large jump compared to things such as my silly Shyguy and Captain Syrup sprites. I feel I've improved myself, however. One thing I've attempted to stop doing is use a black outline, since I find most of my sprites without them look better (Except the Terra one, which is supposed to be MM7 style). But if you see it that way, then consider it more of a collage of all my work, new and old, not a comparison of how it's improved.

And the main reason I haven't attempted to expand or use my first ever Mario sprites is they were just too damn big! I felt that if I ever were going to make something using those custom sprites then having to make everything to scale with them would take up a large amount of time, since sprites that size would take longer to make AND I'd have to make almost everything myself, since there aren't many Mario sprites on that scale.

But I still love them. Even my newest Mario sprite just plain lacks the feeling and, strange to say, emotion that the originals had. It'll never be the same...
