Yeah, p.k. I have been for a while, since I was a kid, but only recently... less than 4 years ago, have I been reading heavily. However, I still couldn't tell you anything about a head gasket or whoosawhutzit or why certain calipers... or hell, even exactly what a caliper was. But yeah.
Maybe. I drew this without any reference whatsoever, and it ended up looking like a ferrari. My studies have influenced me (I have, like, 3 car-cyclopedias next to my toilet. Good times, good times)
At first, I really didn't think this was going to look good. I drew a big red blob. Then I added smaller and smaller red blobs for darker and darker shades. Then I did the same for lighter shades.
Then, I used the burn tool for the lines of doors and the hood and such, did some semi-transparent layers for the windows, did a series of semi-transparent layers for the shine...
... and THEN I drew the outline. Funny how that works sometimes.
Then I finished off with the background and some sparkles, and the head/taillights.
But yeah. I did this completely from my head. At school, I don't have any paper references. I guess I could use the net tho.

Didja know that the dodge viper was a concept car, and people liked it so much that the next year, it was made into a full production model? One of the few cars that has ever gone straight from concept to production!
EDIT: Ah hell, The rear wheel is too close to the front wheel. I ALWAYS do that. Maybe cause I've played with too many hotwheels cars as a child.
