At last, the MFGG 2004 Awards have arrived! In order to vote for any of the categories below, please send me a PM with your choice for each of the awards below. If it regards a game, please put the author and the game. If it regards a game element, please put the author, game, and game element you are nominating.

`Best Spriter
This is awarded to the person who creates the best original sprites.

`Best Reviewer
This is awarded to the person who gives the best criticism for reviews of games.

`Best Artist
This is awarded to the person who creates the best art and drawings of any form.

`Best Engine Maker
This is awarded to the person who creates the most authentic or most well-done game engines.

`Most Positive Contributor
This is awarded to the person who gives the most positive criticism, influence, and critiques in the board.

`Best Shader/Improver
This is awarded to the person who best improves a pre-made sprite through any means.

`Best Recolorer/Editor
This is awarded to the person who creates the best recolor or edit of a base sprite.

`Best Comic Maker
This is awarded to the person who creates the best looking comics that fit their theme the best (humor, action, etc).

`Best Composer
This is awarded to the person who composes the best piece of music, whether it be original or a remix.

`Jack-of-all-trades
This is awarded to the member who is the most well-rounded in all talents.



-Personality

`Best MFGGer
This prestigious award is awarded to the MFGGer who best represents MFGG as a whole, and shows outstanding qualities in his personality, talents, and responsibilities.

`Funniest MFGGer
This is awarded to the MFGGer who has the most humorous posts.

`Most Friendly
This is awarded to the MFGGer who is the most friendly to the majority of the members, new or otherwise.

`Most Helpful
This is awarded to the MFGGer who is the most helpful to those around him and helps with the community effort.

`Best Newbie
This is awarded to a new MFGGer who best demonstrates that he is not a foriegner to the forums and fits in with the other members the best.

`Mr. Popularity
This is awarded to the MFGGer with the largest fanbase and has the most amount of friends on the forum.

`Mr. Serious
This is awarded to the MFGGer who keeps a serious tone and always stays sincere about himself and the forums.

`Unsung Hero
This is awarded to the MFGGer who does the most work for the forums and site, but is never truly recognized for his work.

`Flame-Proof
This is awarded to the MFGGer who can best tolerate flames and trolls.

`Most Influential Debater
This is awarded to the MFGGer who is the most persuasive in his debates and arguments with other members of the board.



-Games

`Best Game
This presitigious award is awarded to the full game with the best overall fundamentals- gameplay, graphics, sound, and replay value.

`Best Demo
This presitigious award is awarded to the demo with the best overall fundamentals- gameplay, graphics, sound, and replay value.

`Best Sprites
This award is given to the game or demo that has the highest quality sprites.

`Best Engine
This is awarded to the game or demo which uses the best engine, whether it be static, mouse-controlled, or other.

`Best Level Design
This is awarded to the game or demo which has the most original and fun to play levels.

`Most Polished
This is awarded to the game or demo which has the best overall look, feel, and atmosphere.

`Most Overlooked
This is awarded to the game or demo which demonstrates the highest quality, but is rarely recognized by the public.

`Most Original
This is awarded to the game or demo which has the most out-of-the-norm concept or design.

`Most Innovative
This is awarded to the game or demo which demonstrates the best implementation of the most original ideas.

`Most Replay Value
This is awarded to the most addictive game that presents the highest replay value.



-Game Elements

`Best Plot
This award is given to the best and most captivating storyline in a game.

`Best Villain
This award is given to the most sinister and interesting main villain in a game.

`Best Hero
This award is given to the most heroic and exciting main hero in a game.

`Best Concept
This award is given to the game that demonstrates the best general concept and idea.

`Best Secrets
This award is given to the game that has the most rewarding unlockable or hidden features.

`Most Absurd Game
This award is given to the game that defies all explanation with its disregard for any coherence of seriousness.

`Best Character Group
This award is given to the group of characters which had the best performance.

`Best World
This award is given to the best area in which a game takes place.

`Best Usage of Resources
This award is given to anything that best uses any of the resources on MFGG through manipulation or editing.

And I'm not so sure about some of these categories. Best villain?? Has any fangame featured a villain who WASN'T Bowser Cackletta Fawful Smithy etc. etc.?
