Game Title Screen Artwork!, Yay!

Lookie what I learned today! Finally, I can do this style of art! And i'm using it for a game i'm making called Bombdudes: Shootout. The actual Title Screen image will be half this size, and i'll make a background for it as well, but here's the full size image.

WOAH, awesome Kritter. You mimicked the Sonic Battle style perfectly.

Keep in mind it's my first in that style too, so if you find anything wrong with it, tell me, but i'm really proud of that!

I'll probably do lots more in this style, it's the first style I found that I enjoy doing. And it was all done on PC too, no drawing on paper and scanning like a lot of people do for their art.

And that character you see there is a Bomb Dude, the first ever character I created. Most people create a ball shaped main character when they first make a game, but I stuck with mine ever since. Bomb Dudes rock!

My first character was a big-nosed stick figure named Bob. But Bomb-Dude is awesome.

Bombdude in action! This is the character that piece of art was based off, and the weapon was based off the one he has here obviously. My next one will probably be with the sword weapon. ^_^

Nice lookin'. The quality of the sprite and background sort of remind me of Gunbound.

Never played it. But everything in that screen is hand drawn, pixel by pixel. The only thing in my game which WON'T be is the counters, which are from Mario and Luigi, because that style fits perfectly.

Oh I know it's all original, just saying that the style reminds me of Gunbound's which is a good thing.

Holy Heck, That's nicely done, Kritter. I thought this was going to be a bomberman-like game like the first bomb dudes game (Correct me if I'm wrong).
But this certainly looks nice.

Looks really great, Kritter!! I used to love using that selection-fill-outline technique, takes a long time to do but looks really professional. Now I just use it for coloring my hand-drawn stuff.

Edit: Kritter, are you using Photoshop or PSP?

Most likely Photoshop. The tutorial I added for Sonic Battle CGing was made in Photoshop. Though he could of transfered it to PSP.
