Another member in a sea of insanity Group: Members Posts: 23232 Member No.: 12 Joined: 13-October 03 Status: (0d)	Now some people might find this a kiddie movie. Well you'd be wrong. This movie is not kiddie in the least, even though I found myself surrounded my bouncey, giggly, little demons. The animation is very cartoony but that plays as a pro in the movie's story line. It fallows a very Disney-like story about friendship but it's not all morals and whatnot. David Schwimmer gives a great preformance same for Ben Stiller. Yeah, this song. It's like the main thing, it plays in the credits and has EVERYONE in the movie dancing to it.

And the Lion's head is blocky because it's cartoonish.

Although there's not much for kids either, admittedly. If you offered me 1000 bucks, I don't think I could quote a single memorable line from this movie...and I thought that during the show. There's no real villain, no real problem that these animals face... and no real fun for grown-up viewers. As for kids, I don't think they can learn much from this story, whether it's knowledge of Madagascarian unique wildlife (which is indeed depicted poorly, with only two major kinds of animals presented in the movie) or lessons of building relationship with friends. This "technical display of computer wizardry" (AKA more boring CGI) is devoid of any value. 1/10. -------------------- Munch on this!
