Smb3 Stuffness

Got three SMB3-related pictures for you. Two old, one new.

SMB3 Enemy Collage I originally intended for this to have a picture of every single enemy in the game, but I got tired of it and never finished. This picture is over a year old; at the time I was going through a phase where I liked making my lines really scratchy. I still like that style. It's also cel-shaded.

Recognize all the enemies?




Next up is a picture of Koopahari Desert. You can see a Pile Driver Micro Goomba, a Boomerang Bro, a Hammer Bro, and Firesnake here. There is a MUCH larger version of this picture on my DA gallery that would make a nice desktop wallpaper, if you like this one.




Finally, as I was writing an overview of all the SMB3 baddies for my site, I couldn't find any official artwork for Kuribo's Goomba. Thus, I made art of my own.

Compare that old pic with some of your new works. I sometimes do that, and get reflective....
Nice job coloring that Koopahari pic with colored pencils. (If you did, OR YOU CHEAPO, YOU DID IT WITH PHOTOSHOP DIDN'T YOU?!?!/1/1)Few people can make a picture look nice with colored pencils.

@Ryo: No, that picture was indeed entirely done by hand with colored pencils, I didn't touch it up at all in Photoshop except for making it smaller. ^_^ I use Prismacolor pencils for all my pencilwork, they're a bit on the pricey side but WELL worth it, they make some EXTREMELY bright colors. I also used prisma pencils for my Hypnotist for Hire comic on DA, though I went for a more scribbly style there.

Nice pics! I might think about using the Mario one as a wallpaper, but I don't wanna let go of my Doom 3 Background...

Kuribo Goomba = best.

If I win the Beetle comp, I'm going to pick Kuribo Goomba. Anyway, saw the older ones on your DA account. They're nice. I love the Kuribo Goomba.

And after the Kuribo Goomba topic, we could have a Koopa Bowser competition. And then a Kinopio Toad competition. And while we are at it, we could also have a Teresa Boo competition.

Nah, keep calling him Kuribo if you want. My reply wasn't meant to be that snappy, so... I'll just blame it on the lateness of my post. Yup, it was late, uh-huh.

After all, Kuribo is so much shorter and sounds so much better than Shoe-Goomba or something like that.

The second version of the NES SMB3 and SMA4 both changed Kuribo's Shoe to Goomba's Shoe, so shouldn't we call Kuribo's Goomba Goomba's Goomba now, even though it sounds akward?

The first pic is so awesome, with it's polish and overall coolness =P
The second one's great because he makes it look so good with just regular art supplies ^-^
And the third just adds to the already owningness of the others, making a triple barrage of 1337ness. Ze Klobber rocks (but zoo already knew zat, eh?)
