Mfgg Award Nominees, Get voting again!

Yeah, I've been ranting about something like that in one of my Deviantart journals. hardly anybody really does that sort of thing nowadays, though. And don't say I'm a hypocrit for saying that, everything I draw is just practice/concept art/ideas/wtf.

No one ever said it did but winners are decided by majorite vote. And by the way, whether someone deserves something or not is an opinion not fact. You may think that one person doesn't deserve the award or position they have but other people disagree with you.

Are we talking about the same George Bush? The current one? "They misunderestimate me", "Is our children learning", and wasting "There ought to be limits to freedom" on a web page that made fun of him?

I don't care if people think he deserves it because he doesn't. Not to mention that this all-powerful "majority vote" you speak of? The majority of people in the world think Bush is an idiot, contradicting the majority vote that elected him. What do you say to that?

He didn't mean it like I think you thought he did. What he MEANT was that the unsung hero category is meant for people who don't get the recognition they deserve, whereas you DO get that.

I know, I shouldn't get the award because if I did get the respect, then I wouldn't be a unsung hero. (It's hard to call it thankless job, though, when the people who call it thankless, aren't the ones who undertook the task. This was just a reflective thought on what Fanguy said.)

It was a difficult thing to notice later on though, what I thought was going to be the outcome of me paying for the site, was totally different then what happened. As long as you guys are enjoying the site's return, though. That was my purpose.

Do you have to place a vote for every category? I'm not around MFGG much, and I don't wanna vote for something that I have no clue about, or on a topic where I don't know any of the people. Can I vote on just a few categories? or should I just wait until next time when I'm smarter :P

What was meant by thankless is "you deserve lots of thanks for it, but in reality not many people think about who pays for hosting, they take it for granted", rather than "the job doesn't deserve any thanks".

Yeah, what RII said, that's what I meant. Sure, you do deserve a lot of thanks, because without you we might not even have a site right now. But it's true that people who take care of site expenses usually don't get all the thanks they deserve.

I know, sorry. Yesterday, I was a little angry since my computer shut down, everything seemed to be building up on my nerves. I didn't really take the time to understand what you said, nor' did I understand the term "Unsung Hero". So, sorry for any disruptions.
