Bewitched

If I could sum this film up in one word it'd be: Disappointment.
Will Ferrell did not give his best and Nicole Kidman wasn't great ethier. While it may have been a tribute why not focus more on the show then Nicole's crying sessions. This film actually have very little to do with the TV show. The movie was short. Very short. (90 mins long) and the intro jumped right into the story which can be good but unfortunently that was not the case in this movie. It felt rushed. The movie did have it's moments and Will Ferrell was a good choice for the movie but it over all felt like it lacked something. The music was actually pretty nice and the special effects were great too. The part where Will Ferrell appears naked on Conan was my favorite part.

90 minutes is the standard time for movies.

And I'll judge it for meself.

And? 30 minutes does not add all that much to a movie. It just gives them much more of a chance to drag it on without point.

Well it got a C- in my paper. While Herbie got a C+. I wouldn't beleive it but I can see why they gave it that. Even the Conan part disappointed me because they didn't show one of his great reactions that he does every night on the show. :<

Maybe I think it's short because I just saw Batman last night and it was 2 ours and 30 mins long.

Our paper gave Herbie three out of four stars. Yet they gave the first Matrix movie 1 and a half stars.

Something's definitely wrong with them.

A movie can't be too short if it isn't bad as a result of being too short. Movies are easily too long for their own good, though.

Austin Powers: Goldmember was pretty short, but hey, that was my favorite Austin Powers movie, to be honest.

I've seen about every episode of the original show... and the movie looks alright, it doesn't really spark my interest. My mom wants to see it really badly though.

Well I gotta say...

Toldja so.

Well, I was planning on seeing War of the Worlds tonight, but the group I was going with, FOR WHATEVER REASON, decided they all wanted to see Bewitched instead. And even though I really wanted to see WOTW more, I wanted to get out of the house.

Not only did I like the movie, but I thought it was better than I originally assumed it was going to be. I thought Will Ferral was just as funny as ever. As was Nicole Kidman. Although I'll admit to liking both of those actors A LOT. There's something about Nicole Kidman that I can't quite put my finger on, but it just makes me LOVE her. I thought it was very funny. I liked the love story in it. It didn't feel too short at all. And the NUMEROUS nods to the old TV show were great. I liked how they didn't remake the show, but instead made the movie ABOUT a remake of the show. It was really well done. I think you have to have watched the old Bewitched show to REALLY enjoy the movie, but it still stands good on its own.

Long story short: I loved this movie.

If we're all about summing it up in one word, how's this one: fantastic.

This is 10 material, I don't know how you missed out on the same fabulous film I saw.
