Edit plus is pretty good as long as you can handle the pitiful nagging for you to buy it. Only reason it beats vim for windows is the FTP function of it. =)

I wub my EditPad Pro. They released EditPad Lite for Linux a while ago, but the lite version lacks the syntax highlighting.

Winsyntax for PHP. Don't have a link but found it through php.net's PHP tutorial so if you want a good editor for PHP, start looking there.

i have to say, of all the html editors i've tried, mine is the best smile.gif that's hy i made it, cause i dind't like any others. it's called Bash HTML Editor and you can get a free trial at bashsoftware.net (or basically any software directory site).

Arisesoft has closed down. I second SP. Winsyntax is the best damn editor I've ever used. You can make your own Syntax parsers, it's got tabbed files. Aaand that's about it. That's what makes it great. Try Notepad2 as well.
