Well, see, I don't like our president. But that really doesn't prove Guinea's case much, since he seems to believe the president is our only body of government that makes decisions (to darken the sky with the terrors and fears of us all I.E. Pollution which will destroy the world in exactly a million years from now)

Yeah.
You know, some countries don't allow Darwin's therories to be taught.
So I wouldn't wonder if they would only tell the children how great and holy America and their president is, but don't tell them the mistakes they make.

I mean, here in Austria we know about the politicians and the history and what bad things we did in the past.
For example we kidnapped the British king, and now we hate Turkish people.
Some politicians talk loud about that they don't like Turkish people, but at least the population knows about that.
There's even one guys who doesn't believe that Hitler killed jews and is a politician.

If such things happend in America, they wouldn't tell the citizens. I guess.

Oh. And do you know about the Indians?
I wouldn't wonder if not.

We all know what we did to the "INDIANS" (I guess you mean the NATIVE AMERICANS?), but I'd really like to know what source you got this information from. The information I'm referring to is the alleged fact that every single American doesn't know about our country's history.

If you actually attended American public school, you'd know first hand that children are not taught that our country is "holy" or how great our president is. The first time I learned about American history was the third grade (as far as I remember) and I do remember learning about how we took over America, but not in detail (We were, what, eight at the time? Yeah, teaching us how we raped native americans is a great thing to teach eight year olds. But you're obviously a scholar and a professor seeing as you know everything, so maybe I should leave that up to you?). I learned about the horrors of what we did to native americans in seventh and eighth grade. And yes, we did make mistakes, I learned that as well.

But what I'm saying MUST be a lie, right? Because you know all about America, and American children and what they learn, so what you said must be true, right?

No, you're not anti-american at all!

This is the way you learned about Americans, right? Seeing a select few stupid people on the news or on a documentary and then making an assumption that all Americans are like that?

I see that everything you said is correct (about the history).
I had prejudices and I see that Americans know about their history.
But not all Americans.
You can't say that ALL Americans know their history.
Same as I didn't say that ALL Americans don't.

Now let's have an end to this discussion and be friends again.

And I guess every country has their mistakes and so you can't blame anyone of them.

America is not my favourite country but all I don't like is their politics and not the people. American people can be very nice, and I know some Americans too. They are by far friendlier than some Austrians.

I hope you are satisfied now and that we can live happy together from now on.
No more "your state is crap"-discussions anymore. We see how they could turn out.

And all Austrians know about their history? No, I highly doubt that. Unless you've talked to every Austrian. Which you haven't.

I fail to see what this has to do with our discussion. Darwin's theory is simple: creatures evolve. They evolve because the creatures best suited to the environment live, whereas those that are not die. This causes the populace to all adapt to its environment quite logically. This contradicts Christianity

Which quite simply does not happen, you dolt. Stop making assumptions.

Americans began as descendants of Europe, when they were making colonies in the New World. America was at that time thirteen colonies on the eastern shore; and they didn't like being ruled by Europe. They claimed independance, fought for it, and won.

While settling, there were

Wrong. Native Americans; be politically correct, will you? These Native Americans constantly fought against the settlers because said settlers were taking their land, which the natives believed belonged to everyone, which is quite within reason. Natives were slaughtered, raped, discriminated against, and otherwise disrespected and humiliated. This was not the end of such.

Also of note, anyone of dark skin was referred to with excessively vulgar slurs and were slaves.

England, Spain, and France were eventually ousted from the Americas. Such wars occured during this time as the French and Indian War, which should be self-explanitory.

America then spread to the west, to border Canada and Mexico. They now cover the entire north continent.

1. The Louisiana Purchase forced several natives into reservations, which were also taken away from them
2. A border skirmish in Texas produced a war between America and Mexico.
3. The argument over slavery caused quite a bloody stir up in Kansas.
4. This argument was not unique to Kansas; it was all over the country. The southern area (The South) and the northern area (The North) were very close to opening fire on each other. President Lincoln was elected and swore to make the whole Union share one belief on the subject ("...a house divided against itself cannot stand... it will become all one thing, or all the other..."), and this caused the South to secede. Hitler killed about thirty googul people, mainly the Jewish. America didn't want to have anything to do with it. Japan ran over and bombed Pearl Harbor. Here are my prejudices:

1. Chinese and Japanese people are mostly very ugly. I haven't seen any that were cute or anything. Salad swears up and down she can give me a nosebleed but I don't buy it

2. Koreans make really ****ed up games. They may not be necessarily bad, and they're usually quite professional if you forgive the translations, but they're quite odd.

3. Black people are not genetically stupid (Rage is pretty damn smart); but quite a few are a bit more aggressive than most white people. This leads to a rebellious attitude and they usually become tough, but stupid.

4. German women are hairy (I have not verified this)

Well, not really.

But at least this topic changed my mind.
I won't ever talk bad about something in the future before I don't know for sure if I'm right.
