...Kingdom Hearts fangame?

Yeah, I do. Can you tell us some of the other characters (Obviously other than the ones we've seen already) that will be in the game?

The demo's pretty good although I must say the fact that you can fry small, innocent animals with thunder, as well as beat the hell out of them, doesn't seem very... Kingdom Hearts-ey.

I'm a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts, and it's about time I see a fangame for it. Great job so far.

Well, a lot of the characters we are using, we are keeping secret. But there are quite a few characters posted on the website either in the "Character" section, the "Screenshot" section, or the icons in the "Download" section.

Just from those sections of the website alone, you can find out 28 of the characters in the game. If you go to our KHIH Forum, you can find a few more characters lurking in there. (I'm not going to hold your hand while looking for those though)

This also doesn't include any of the heartless. I can tell you that we are planning another update to the website soon which should include some new artwork and introduce another wave of characters from the game. So just keep watch.

Thanks for the compliments. I will tell you this. The act of killing all of the innocent farm animals DOES have a negative effect on the game. (Not the demo, but in the final game.) You are able to choose how you progress through the game. If you choose to follow the "light side" of your heart, the game will change versus choosing the "dark side" of your heart.

So, while you can kill all the animals in the demo with no consequences at all, in the final version of the game, this type of action would push you into the dark side.

But...you have to eat to survive, which means that you'd have to kill the chickens in order to eat them, but that also means that you'd get pushed farther towards the dark side...Unless you just eat the apples in the Moogle area and other such things...

I have questions. Is it possible to kill the heartless in the windy area, get past the windy area, finish the demo, find the items the moogle wants, and how do you mount on a chocobo? 0-o

You kind of answered your own question. If you eat things such as apples from the trees, and vegetables from underground (using to Chocobo to dig them up), you wouldn't have to kill the animals. The demo seems to make it very convienient to kill the animals for food, where as the final game will have more options.

Yes, it is possible to kill the heartless, but you must have the sword to do it. In fact, it is possible to do everything you asked in your post. We have a FAQ posted on our forum.

But here is a quick run down on the order of what to do in the demo:

1. get the four items the moogle wants and return them to him. (this gets you the sword)
2. reunite Flik and Atta (from "A Bug's Life")
3. Capture the Iguana just past the farm
4. Give iguana to Chocobo (this allows you to ride the Chocobo)
5. The Chocobo can run through the windy area to the boss fight
6. Defeat the boss
7. Continue to the caves to end the demo
8. Sit back and watch the trailer for Episode 1.

I won't go into HOW to do any of those things here. But they are explained in the FAQ if you would like to know.
