SP: Um; yes it is. The Revolution can take both GCN discs; and the new, larger, Revolution discs.

I believe SP is referring to the claim that the Revolution can download NES and SNES games.

asdf;lk NM my post then, totally read his wrong. The new post is:

Yeah but of course there are some that think having PS2 and PS1 games is still better than having the games that made gaming great in the 90s. Despite the fact they're all wrong, some really are that dense and I just worry how many people really will take GTA III over Mario 3

Yeah.
The Super Mario Bros. Series is a junk of HISTORY.
Especially some of the "first age" players who started with the NES or even Game&Watch will think of the Revolution as a console that gives them anything they want.

Younger players who have never played any 2D games will also think "Hey. One of those antique games. But it's only 1$ to buy it, so why not try?"

Especially people who have never played any games before (like 5 year old children) will be glad to be able to start with the first age instead of "tele tubbies" or hardcore shooters.

And Sega has also said that they want to ask Nintendo if it was possible to offer the old Sega games for download, so ain't that great? The history of the two greatest game developers ever? Bundled on ONE system?
And maybe others join too.

Yeah. The history aspect of Revolution will definitely attract enough people.
