Who watches G4 videogame tv?

I do not, i feel that it does to videogames what MTV does to music.
I used to watch TechTV, yes. That was the best channel ever but once they were forced to merge with G4...

I have the car shows, but I like the women.

X-play is awesome.

I watch it when there is nothing else on TV, which is usually the case.

Is G4 that stuff that plays gameplay footage from random games

That's what I hate about Comcast. Even if you don't have the channel it still shows up in the guide, without any indication that you don't have it. So you end up selecting about 40 channels you don't have before you find one that you do

only good thing on that channel when i used to watch it was when they went into the history of various video game series

i always hated the game soundtrack segments too much to watch

Icons, X-Play, Cinimatec, Judgement Day, SOME of Attack Of The Show

That's all on that channel that doesn't suck.
The "LOL DIRFT STREEET RACING!!1!!!1" and "LOL SNOOP DAWGZZ PLAYZ TEH GTA OMG!!!!!111!!!1!11!2" stuff sucks.

Man, TechTV used to rock. The Screen Savers and Call For Help were both great shows that helped my computer-related knowledge to increase exponentially. I even had a question answered live on Call For Help once, which I recorded.

Before X-Play, the Extended Play show rocked. The game reviews were intelligent and constructive. Also, they didn't waste time on the show with completely unfunny skits like they do now. They also had some great documentary-type shows like "Invent This" and what not. There are also a lot of old Anime Unleashed shows I miss.

Probably the best thing they ever showed was the first live Call For Help-a-thon, where the host cracked and started losing his sanity. Excellence!

Now G4TV on the other hand.... blech. Most of the shows are just... bad. However, I do like Icons. That's actually a very good show. Cinematech is good sometimes, but they show a ridiculous amount of boring videos. They also have some decent new anime on Anime Unleashed.

No, I possibly wouldn't even if I hadn't. The only times I've seen games on my TV is when I'm playing them, other than that time there was a 5 hour documentary about Tetris, in which they played the Tetris songin the background, all the time. I had a sudden urge to play Tetris.
