Ironically; not a site that is very fast. The Perfect Dark glitches are neat...

It's really cool to try the one on the first stage, drop from the helipad onto the metal door, swing it partially MY BRATWURST DAMNIT SON OF A ***** ARGH and then hold right on the C buttons and control stick and you'll roll through the door; I couldn't land it right, ended up freezing the game FILLED WITH CHEESE but hey... it was fun to try

They don't have Sonic. Disappointment.

'Course, Sonic is a pretty linear series so you don't really need to speedrun it.

I'm going to have to challenge that statement by wording my feelings towards the Speed Demo Archive.

The site seems to be captured videogame footage played at a higher plane of expertise, usually done in the quickest manner possible. However, I believe playing the games usually delivers a greater deal of utility than merely watching them in fast action. This preference aside, I still respect the amount of memorization and reflex required to produce these videos.

I fail to see how this adds any significant commentary to the referenced material, but at least I find solace in the fact that we are in accordance.

Holy hell, these files are huge.
It would be better if the files were segmented. I'm not downloading a whole 600 somethin MB file.

Unfortunately, the site banks on your disapproval with the beastly file sizes. As I have come to discover, they offer most of their Speed Runs on DVD...for sale.

They claim to make no profit, but one can never be too sure in these dealings.

At first I was going to explain why it may be legal for them, if they truly were just charging for the DVD's cost. But it's become blatantly apparent that they are charging extra through the following passage:

I don't think Mr. SupermanVillain is going to give you a lecture in watching porn over MegaMan 2 so let me just go ahead and recommend X-Men or anything else with a real plot or some game you're interested in buying... maybe the news?
