Sprite Compo #49: Doopliss, TOP 5 VOTING IN PROGRESS

Yay I won something. And congrats to Medaforcer for coming second.

Now, this sprite compo is about Doopliss. Pretty simple. Voting starts 4th August, that should be enough time.

You know those Duplighosts from Paper Mario?

Yeah, he's just like that.

By the way, Doopliss is from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

Here's a preview. I'm taking a crack at M&L2.

I never played any of the Paper Marios, so this competion won't be my strong point.

I like your entry so far, but just so you know, dooplis is sort of like... a floating sheet. Like, he's an invisible ghost, who has to wear a sheet to have any visible appearance. Or something. So... he wouldn't actually have hands. He just has flaps of his sheet which curve up and over where the hands should be.

It's a great sprite... just the hands/lack of need to be fixed.

Meh, A cheap attempt at Smrpg style, came out nicely to me, and Don't Start about the whole "Isometric" thing. Doopliss is hard to sprite at funky angles... ;_;

Doesn't look like SMRPG to me but is awesome nonetheless.

Win. That's all I can say. Meda has this compo won.

I thought we banned those sort of comments. bad sportsmanship


And um, I'll whip up something I suppose. All entries rawk so far.

Just because you like M&L 2 style doesn't mean meda wins.
That Doopliss needs work, if you asked me.
And I'm entering this compo. because of that.
