Also it looks like it has the excat same plot as resident evil 1.

*feels like nitpicking*
They used little to no CGI (shocking). The monsters were made by the guy who did the Predator. As for the no-name actors part, no-name actors can be good. Look at Sean Connery, he started out as an extra. I'm not saying this movie is an offering from the gods, but it's probably not going to be Alone in the Dark.

Most movies have no name actors. Expecially Horror fliks. It gives it a more "real" feel.
There is barely, if any, CGI in this film.

Most films dont take very long to film. This has been in production for a while now.

And dont accuse all movies of having matrix rip-offs. Several movies had Slow-mo before Matrix did.

Doom plot = Human Genome and Mutants, possibly demons.
Resident Evil = Zombies and Creatures who were created from parts.
