July 29, 2005 - Back in February, Rising Star Games revealed that it would be bringing Bubble Bobble Revolution to the Nintendo DS, a dual-screen rendition of the classic Taito arcade game. The company today revealed the first screenshot of the DS version, revealing a unique two-screen-tall layout of the classic dino bubble-blowing arcade game that hit the GBA system last year in the US.

When the game's finished for an October release in Europe, Bubble Bobble Revolution will feature additional DS specific features, including wireless network play for multiplayer competition and cooperation.

Rising Star Games has also revealed Rainbow Islands Revolution for the Nintendo DS, a conversion of the Bubble Bobble sequel, set for release in Europe in November.

Though no details on a US release have been revealed, it must be noted that Rising Star Games' first announced product, Space Invaders Revolution, will be released stateside by Mastiff later this year. It's possible that Bubble Bobble Revolution and Rainbow Islands Revolution will be handled by the US publisher as well.
