Thank god for a quiet neighborhood and living in a back house.

I used to feel and experience the same thing. But I hear about 2-3 gunshots every
other night. I've learned to cope with it, really.

But if such event never really happens in said neighborhood then
it is kinda scary.

Be careful, Biddy. I don't want see you end up dead.
Hopefully, someone will report it to the police so you can be protected during the night and the day. I,know I'd be scred to death if i heard a gunshot so close to me.

As I still lived in amerika, we had the same probs. There were gang fights in front of our house with guns and everything. They all got arrested though. Best is to call the police right away, even better if you know who is shooting.

Another thing would be to move away from there. But that's up to you.

Ever thought of installing CCTV cameras on your house? I know it sounds stupid, but a lot of people have them for protection.

Luckily, there isn't much crime involving weapons around where I live, but depending where you are in my town, there is still quite a bit of crime.

Anyway, I hope you don't get anymore bullets landing in your house, but I guess if it ends up being a HUGE problem, it would probably be better to move house.

My neighbours didn't hear a gunshot last night, so the hole in our house is probarly... coincidence after all? Even though I'm almost sure of it that hole wasn't there before we went to the party. :[

Hope everything's ok, I live right next to the Bronx and surprisingly I never hear gunshots, my friend does though. Well, good luck with everything. And what if the shot in your house was from a silenced pistol or something? I'm not trying to make things worse, just a thought.
