Seperate but equal facilities are legal so long as they are for protection. You cannot safely have teenage girls and boys changing in the same room. On that note, it's also not cool to risk a narcissist man happening to wander into a shared facility and attacking people of a different race, but that's not quite as likely as dressing room rape.
