It doesn't have to be Mario related. Right now, my favorite fangame is Super Mario Blue Twilight DX. It's professionally presented and the level design truly does reflect on the charm of the original games while not being a remake. The bosses are amazing. I love King Boo the most. The date activated secrets are awesome additions as well. -------------------- Apologies for the nostalgia.

Clone with High-Res graphics. The engine is nearly like the original and the music is AMAZING!!!! Especially from world 4 upward.
