QUOTE (clickteam.com)
Various anti-virus products detect a false positive.

A few anti-virus products have had a recent update the detects BackDoor.Agent.DT in some Multimedia Fusion created EXE files.
This also includes a false positive in the Multimedia Fusion demo download.

This is completely incorrect and false.

We have sent notices to the virus scanner companies in question so they can address this false positive situation.

I have scanned the files on the Clickteam server with Trend Micro PC-Cillian and they are completely clean.

Clickteam does not put anything funny in our installers.
No Spyware -- No Trojans -- No Virus

Thanks, Clickteam

This is particularly true for those of you that run AVG Antivirus. I got about 25 false positives from the MFGG backups I keep, and this had me going in circles until this announcement was posted.

Might want to post this on the site for the games that use an installer.

Not limited to games that use installers (And can you even package a game in an installer with MMF?). I actually got several false positives on your games.

There may be others. Trend Micro PC-Cillin is not one of them.

If you'd like to test your software, download Boo's Treat or Boo's Treat Gold (Not to pick on SP....) and scan that.

Also, the latest AVG virus definitions no longer detect this false positive.
