I don't think that's a fair representation of Thompson's views. He's only attacking games with 'realistic' violence, or sexual content. But I'm not defending him or anything. Films can cover these subjects without being seen as particularly controversial. Games should be allowed to too, but unfortunately they are often seen as only childrens' playthings.

Hell, they don't know what the hell the word means when they're first exposed to it; their parents are the one who REALLY introduces them to it.

Even then, they/we don't start abusing it (unless they're idiots/their parents are idiots, in which Jack-ass is potraying us as) and use it sparingly. In fact, my 4 year old cousin acts mature because she was exposed AFTER being introduced to this content by "parental information".

What this spirit is thinking is that video games damage our brains and puts us in a trance to do whatever is depicted onscreen. No, this is NOT true. Unlike TV, in which information is splat in your face, Videogames tap into the player's brain by introducing situations that must/should be solved. Hell, you're learning by playing video games. (unless you're playing easy-ass games)

Another problem with Jackoff is that he thinks we were born yesterday. I mean, he's suing Rockstar for it's ability for being modded of removing clothes. Does he think we're THAT ignorant? We know what the hell "boobies" are, and kids SERIOUSLY know about it, too. (Kids have they're ways of bypassing rules >> <<) Hell, it's now rated Ao, so parents CAN'T buy it for their children.

Somebody should send an email which starts out as a message in favour of his views (so he might actually read it) but eventually turn it around so that it's proving him wrong.

Might sorta trick him into thinking it's an email supporting him, might get a proper reply. Even though it's unlikely.

AO is so damn pointless, one year more, so my mom who is fifty cannot buy it because it was upped from 17 to 18? What the hell? There if no point in this "AO" rating.
