Blue Dragon, Hironobu Sakaguchi's masterpiece...

"Blue Dragon", which is an exclusive RPG from famed creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi's latest project, is looking quite good on the Xbox 360:

For those who didn't notice, teh artwork in this game is done by the genious behind the art of Dragonball Z, and Chrono Trigger, Akira Toriyama.
Also many transferred over to Hironobu Sakuguchi's now independent comapny, Mistwalker.

I love the artwork, I might try it if I decide to nab a 360.

The artwork makes me think Dragonball Z too much.

Hey great! Looks like the Xbox 360 can load .JPGs? Seriously, what does this tell you about the game, there is good concept art for TAK AND THE POWER OF JUJU too I'm sure

Hmm, interesting indeed.

Why does the guy in the third picture have the Great Saiyaman's outfit? And that goblin guy at the bottom looks way too much like Neko Majin Z. I think Akira Toriyama is either trying to sneak in his characters disguised as others (Unlikely...) or he's ran out of ideas :P

Yeah; I agree with Shadowman that is again glorified concept art. What a lovely mess. Shame Toriyama gets to work on something brilliant like Chrono Trigger and really makes it work, and now we sit in wait wondering if games like this will even resemble a remote semblance of quality.

It might work. Hopefully we will see more original characters. One of the great thing about Chrono Trigger that was so loved, is the characters. I hope Mr. Toriyama isn't running out of steam, and will have to recycle old characters.

Why are you calling it a masterpiece when it isn't even out? :P

Saying it's a mess because we have no info on gameplay is just as bad as saying it will probably be the best game ever despite having no info on gameplay. :o

I don't think he was calling the game a mess.

I think he was more or less saying it's a "lovely mess" because we don't know anything about the game so we can't honestly pass any proper judgement, much like you're saying.

Saw this months ago on Shonen Jump. It's good the XBOX 360's going to have lots of good games to start out with.
