Mario Land Opinion

Super Mario Land is pretty good because it's so quirky.
Super Mario Land 2 is a f***ing badass game and easily one of my top 5 Mario games.
I haven't played Wario Land much.

I can't remember waht games these were... I don't think I've played them much.

I truely got into gaming more with the N64. I had 1 game for NES. 2 games for SNES. 6 games for N64 (now 7 since I bought Paper Mario before Paper Mario 2 came out) and I currently have 20 or so Gamecube games and alot of GBA and GBC games. Though I haven't played those...

Well, I have all 3 Mario Land games myself, and I say that SML2 is the best, followed by SML3/Wario Land. SML is just... strange to me. =P

In the Nintendo Power Players Poll it was one of the Longest Gameboy games in the top 10 along with Link's Awakening and Tetris.

It would still be there today if players still voted on their favorite titles in Nintendo Power.

The music is pretty good, considering most, if not all of the level themes are remixes of the first song you hear when you play the game.

Actually all seven are good.

I just played through Super Mario Land in about half an hour and I enjoyed every minute of it. I used to have so much trouble with this game as a kid. XD

Didn't play much of 1, but I loved 2. And the Wario Land series is fun, because in the better games, you can't die. I just love that concept.

I only like the first of the wario lands. The others suck

Oh yeah. I remember when they had the kiosks with the VB demo reel on it as well.

Isn't it supposed to be pretty much like the first Wario Land for Gameboy?

Except it's all 3-D. And it's awesome. The 3-D effects are actually really good.

I hadn't played the Gameboy one though, so I was wondering if they played similarly, having the same title and all.

I've never played Mario Land 1 before, but Mario Land 2 was awesome as hell. There were GOOMBA GHOSTS for God's sake. How can that not win?

Wario Land is also very fun, though not as fun as Wario Land 2. Whether or not you still consider Wario Land 2 a Mario Land game, I do. Same basic principles, and Wario is invincible (aside from those pesky gaps).

The gameboy and the VB Wario Lands have the same gameplay but are two different games (storyline/the way the game progresses).

2 was ok and 3 so-so but 4 was kickass. Best so far.
