holy crap I'm liking the hi-res thing.


They should have done this to ocarina of time and updated some of the models for a "modern" version in the Zelda Collectors Disc, now that would have been awesome

Yeah, I just looked through all the screenshots. This looks amazing. But the problem with smoother textures is, you get rid of some of the darkness at some points that OoT is supposed to have, such as the graveyard there. I remember it being a lot darker.


But yeah, better resolution OoT was what Master Quest should have had. Instead it was "N64 graphics with shiny items."

items are always shiney when you get them, but once they're in your inventory.. somehow they loose their luminocity

Well sometimes in the Graveyard there are Lightning strikes that illuminate the whole place, making it bright.

Actually, the items are shinier in Master Quest. When you hold anything, such as a Deku Nut, up in the air... It looks like it's made of plastic or glass.

That happens in OOT also, the first time you get anything, like a bottle of magic would be a ridiculously shiney 3d model instead of a blurry sprite, and in items at stores. I have master quest, but things aren't always shiney, at least from what I remember

Oh, and you know what'd be AWESOME? A high res textured version of Paper Mario. A lot of the sprites in that game are comparitively blurry/dull colored compared to Paper Mario 2, just image them being in high res with the proper colors...oh man.

They should do something with Earthworm Jim 3D. On a related note, I tried playing that game on two emluators, but in those two emulators, in the level "Poultrygeist", I can't get the Golden Udder where you need to jump on appearing furniture while avoiding the ghost vaccum because when you jump on the third furniture the sequence ends abruptly.

I belive someone somewhere made a mod for Paper Mario 1 that used Paper Mario 2 graphics...
