Not yet, but I'm f***ing dying to see it. Especially the "torture device" room with all the blood.

Okay dudes, I just got the hook up with the high res mod (not the Celda one, the other one) and it's absolutely mindblowing. I actually got all giddy when I saw the new Gohma. And just look at the new Deku Tree interiors (screenshot posted below). It runs perfectly and I don't have the best video card, nor the fastest comp.

Seriously, this is amazing. It's incredible what simply making the textures better/not blurry can do for the way a game looks. I'd think this was a Gamecube game if I didn't know any better, and it runs just fine! On my slow comp! Absolutely worth the download if you like Ocarina of Time and want to see it with a pretty facelift, the amount of work that went into this mod is stunning.

There's the link to get it, all you have to do is download the file posted and follow the instructions in the readme. Also download the files the readme refers to, but the readme includes links to said files and they're very small. It's very simple; if you're able to unzip folders to the proper directory and make a few adjustments in the options menu of your emu of choice, you can do this.

What do you mean? Did they alter it in the Gamecube Collector's Edition version or something?

No, it's not that, it's just that I was too focused on solving the puzzles then looking for easter eggs.

I'm not sure if this was an Easter egg or not.

Do you have the game? If so, later I'll find it again (I don't remember where it was) and give you directions to it. To be honest, it might not be a torture device. It's just two wooden poles tilted to form an X in the middle of a room, with chains on either side. The floor underneath the contraption is smeared with blood.

The main room under the well?

No, it's in the Shadow Temple.

Okay, you know the area where the Royal Family's ship sinks? Go there. From there, enter the west door (if you're facing the bigass pit, the door will be on your right).

After you enter that door, activate the Eye of Truth so you can see all the invisible walls. Go to the southern corner of the room and enter that door. That's it. The room is just as I described -- wooden X in the middle of the room, chains on either side, blood smeared on the floor. There's also some random wood laying around at the edge of one of the walls and a pile of skulls in the corner. There's also a small chest in the room, but I don't recall what it contained.

Dangit, I got all the files and everything but I can't find where Project64 allows to switch graphic plugins..

Bah, maybe I should get a different emulator.

same here. What emulator do you use? I tried PJ64, Nemu, and 1964, but they might be dated. What the heck!!

Isn't the in PJ64 like "Settings -> plugins"?

Uncheck the 'Hide Advanced options' then open up the Texture Filters Tab again.

Oh I went straight to options and tried to change the GRAPHICS plug in, maybe I missed what you're talking about.


But now I have to wait till I get home because I'm at work right now

My Computer Electrionics Technology Class just got in some new Pentium 4s which we can use as a personal computer before Lunch. I'm going to try and get used to the Keyboard though, since we are not alowed to bring a USB controller.

Thank god IGP graphics are somewhat decent for n64 emulators.
