They need to make a 3D sidescroller mario.. and "The new super mario bros" doesn't count because mos thing's are sprites in that game.

I mean super smash bros. melee adventure mode style, the mushroom kingdom level is awesome

I hope that if they do adventure in the next smash bros, that it's randomized. as in hyrule temple would be different every time you go in it, etc. it could work and isn't hard for them to do, heck in gba version of four swords levels are randomized, and that's top-down view with puzzles.

2D and 3D. Both had great titles, and the three best 3D Mario games are SM64, Sunshine, and MK64.
EDIT: Do the Mario RPGs count?

Both.

2D games are very good. But like what BS said about the "slippery" thing, that annoyed me in SMB1 especially. SMW is my favorite mainly because of yoshi and many interesting multi-paths in world maps. That and the game has easy controlling.

3D is also great. SM64/SM64DS's excellent.

That's a cameo put in there because the game was licensed by Nintendo. In the PC version, and in all future Sim games, there is no such cameo.

And there weren't any Nintendo cameos that I know of even in the SNES version of Sim City 2000, instead of Bowser it was giant tripod cyclops aliens.
