Is this next gen? It looks now-gen.

First of all, the graphics look fine, and great, and I'm sure better in motion. Second, graphics aren't everything. Did you even READ the description? The game sounds amazing so far.

I downloaded the playable demo a few days ago.

This game cannot have been made by humans, our ideas for games are quaint and inferior to this. It is beyond our reach.

I saw my brother play the demo. I don't think the game even knows what genre it wants to be.

And it's not scary in the least.

You guys just don't like first person shooters.

No, I just don't like games that try to make a game scary with stuff that isn't.

Ghost girl = not scary.

Crazy psychic guy eating flesh = not scary.

Big mech falling through roof = Not scary.

Hallway with blood flooding down from the ceiling = Definately not scary.

Isn't FEAR the organization that sent X to recieve Birdman's crest?

It's not a bad game just because you don't jump out of your seat every time something happens in the game. You also may not find it scary or WEIRD or CREEPY, but other people would.

I've read a few previews of this game. I want.

This isn't like Doom 3 or anything. A zombie coming out of the closet, when you just later on knew what was gonna happen. F.E.A.R does the opposite. The game gives you 2 choices to predict. 1: The soldiers come and attack you or 2: The Ringu effect. The A.I. is very advanced and keep the replay value up. Flip a closet that is blocking their path and they'll crouch under it. If they can barely hit you they'll jump over a ledge to stand right next to you and melee you to dead. This game is perfect for those who enjoy Matrix styled games and japanese horror movies. The game also contains some very nice scenes, making it look like a movie.

For those who don't believe me, I suggest you play the SP demo. But keep in mind, low FPS, bad graphics and lag ruin this game.

Eh, that's not the only reason I didn't like it, I was just citing that as a major one since everyone seems to think it's scarier than **** for some reason. I just had to say it, I'm done with the topic now.
