hoax 124 and a bit of history

this actually dident take verry long to do.

simple manipulation of the magic wand and the gradiant tool allowed me to shade the card.

i used "font magic" to do the 3d text.



-----------------a bit of history in my hoaxes---------------------
this isent the first time ive tryed to high-rez a hoax.
this is verry obviose if you look at my archive.

(please note my actual hoax archive is in a slightly scrambled order)


that is in fact my first attempt....
i was trying to find a method that may work.
using my 8bit method with transparancy and gradiant.
obviosely it failed...

so, on to the next.


that was my first sucsessfull atempt at making a high rez hoax.
it was simple really. all i had to do was use the magic wand tool to cut out each segment of the card and apply a gradiant acordingly.

back to the origonal consept.


this is actually what gave birth to my color 2 texture method.

rather than a texture i had a gradiant in the background.
what i did to achive this is i went thrugh the entire pallete applying a transparancy acordingly to what color gradiant i set to the background..

the end result was that up there. a bit bland. but still high rez.


one of my more recent high rez attempts.
at this point i have much more powerfull tools and more knoledge of how things are done.

using a simaler method as what was used to apply a gradiant to hoax 57 i applyed textures i dug up on google.

of course. not perfect.... but i am definately geting somewere.

on a pointless note, i usually drink alot of coffee before i make a hoax.
