May I offer a suggestion on the lips? Don't actually draw the outline of them. Just the buldge of the bottom lip and if you want the arch on the top and the like seperating them.

Now that you mention it the outline of the lips does kind of stick out... I sort of based it on this picture except for the shirt (and right now I'm realizing one of the arms looks fat, the line was extremely light and didnt pick up when scanned

Judging by your picture, it looks like you want to focus on drawing good faces, as the hair is simply done (although I can't stand drawing all those lines like you did @_@) and how you made the body. Here's some major face tips:

-There's alot around your eyes that you can draw to make them more realistic.
-Like Mario Gamer said about the lips, drawing a direct line around them isn't the best approach. Lines like the lips and wrinkles in the skin are best either done partially, lightly, or left out
-Truly discover the proportionas of your face. Not measurements, but how your eyes are to your nose and to your ears and such.


Otherwise, I think you did a pretty great job, and I can' wait to see more =D
