Hands-On: New. Super Mario Bros, Just like the classics!

Dry Bones is the only one I've seen so far that's an entirely new model. And maybe that red Koopa Tropa. But yeah, the rest seem ripped out of Mario 64 DS, but it's probably easier for them than making new models from scratch.

Put Koopalings in this plz.

It's obvious the backgrounds aren't the same. And anyway, it sounds like that's not even the issue when you say "none of this is ripped out of SM64DS."

DryBones looks too pug-ugly in my opinion D:.

The Goombas, Mario, the Whomp King...and most of the polygonal sprites do look like they came from SM64 DS.

Of course, it could be changed.

And I still want sprites instead of 3D models. :P It'd look so much better.

He looks like his Mario Baseball model. Which is awesome.

All I want is Yoshi Riding and Koopalings a ****ing 3D.

Super Mario World is the only Mario sidescroller to let you ride Yoshi (not counting Yoshi's Island, since you play Yoshi), right? If so, another game with that feature would be awesome.

Inspiring, but I dunno if it'll drive me to actually pay for a DS I won't have any use for. =(

You're missing out on a fun handheld, Iceman.

Anyway, I love the graphics. Meh. Can't have everything in 2D hand drawn graphics. >:(
