DS or PSP, Which one do you like more?

I like the DS better because I'm a Nintendo fan.

Actually, I had a debate with a member awhile ago, about which handheld was better, but now, I feel I was completely idiotic to start such an argument, seeing that the two systems are quite different, and are meant to appeal to very different audiences.

Nintendo DS because it focuses on gaming.

I haven't played the PSP, and I own a DS. So... yeah.

The current DS: 9, PSP: 0 polls are amazing results, even if this is a Mario forum.

I place no vote.

I've been getting more use out of my psp, then my ds.

Because the PSP also functions as a media player and has the ability to download emulators to play illegal games, its users don't care about the crappy lineup of GAMES it actually officially has. Appealing mainly to sports fans and only a few upcoming titles to look forward to. But hey, whatever you like.

These handhelds are so different and have such different goals... I can't understand why people keep putting these polls up all over the internet. The PS2 and XBOX are similar in features, that's why everybody compares them. But I just don't see what is to compare here.

I only voted PSP because I can play roms on it, and I only have 2 games for DS, but I'm interested in Jump Superstars for the DS. But in terms of games for the systems I'd go with DS, since I like 2 for the DS (SM64 DS, Wario Ware Touched) and only one for the PSP (Thug 2 Remix). I also use the PSP for Nintendo only emulation.

Anyways I own a DS and enjoy it, but I have tried the PSP.
The screen is lovely. Think a movie theatre screen that's nice clear and shiny, and shrink it to a handheld size without losing any details.
HOWEVER, there are no games available for it that make me want to obtain one at this current time.
I say DS but I'm not voting until I get a PSP of my own so I can make an unbiased decision.

You completely ignore NesterDS and SnesDS...which you can download games wirelessly with or store on a flashcart.

When you can't come up with something on your own to post, resort to posting a web comic. It's surely going to make you look witty even though it wasn't your wit.

It was relevant, so I don't see why the preaching is necessary. If Princess Pie truly was looking to be seen as witter upon posting that, then she should of course be ashamed.

But all she did was post the comic and not something like "I'm pretty funny, eh guys?" So there's no reason to judge her quite yet. After all, I hadn't seen the comic, so the post was at least worth the exposure.

Do you NEED a flashcart for that? because I know WiFiME is a program you need.. I'd do it if I didn't need to order a flashcart or anything extra like that.. I have a wireless router afterall

In the future you will not, but as of right now you need modified firmware.

However, if you have a friend with a flashcart, you can flash your firmware once and never need a flashcart again.

If you have WiFiMe and a wireless network PCI card (you can't use a router as of right now) you can still download official Nintendo demos, which I think is still pretty snazzy even in the light of emulators.

There was only ONE reason why I got a PSP: Ridge Racer
So... yeah. DS ALL THE WAY!
