You mis-read it, The Controller is being unveiled next month and some games will be running at the tokyo game show.

Spong is just appealing to the crowd; considering Matt from IGN has said on several occassions that an announcement will DEFINITELY be made -before- TGS, I see this article as a joke to make people look smart when we will in fact be waiting for less time than they say.

Besides; Nintendo is almost always absent from TGS, duh

There's also a rumor going around that Nintendo's gonna have a Spaceworld event. But that's probably a no, seeing as Nintendo rarely announces one after July.

I would expect him to be a little skeptical, seeing how that news source, has posted some BS in the past.

Anyway, I do not think anything major will be revealed at TGS, but you never know. It would be foolish for Nineendo to stand up to Sony, seeing as how it would take Thunder away from the Big-N. I mean seriously, for the past 4 years TGS has been "Sony's show".

In other words though; he's saying while he doesn't know for sure, he does not expect this to be something that tails TGS, it should be before and if not then it will be at the show itself.

One should note though that a keynote by Iwata does not mean Revolution info. This is not the same as having a massive press conference with a half hour or full hour of time on a stage. Iwata will likely talk about Nintendo and his own philosophy on video games, and what they will do in the future, more so than push the Revolution's feature list.

I don't know why anyone even bothers talking about Spaceworld anymore; Spaceworld has never been something that Nintendo sprung on you; it used to be a yearly thing and they stopped doing it to save money. And considering the time/money necessary to set up such an event, it's a 100% safe bet that the quiet is not a conspiracy. A magical Spaceworld where every Revolution game is playable is not on the way; Nintendo will save money by attending other shows, like TGS, to display their content.

EDIT: and Kaepora is right; TGS is something Sony has gone all out to dominate in the past, there is a good reason Nintendo does not splooge franchises all over it
