After months of speculation, and a big miss at E3, Nintendo still hasn't shown their controller. However, there's always the mind, that can aid us in this long wait. So seriously, what do you folks think the Revolution controller will be?

I think it will be very similar to that of Apple's Mighty Mouse, but with a D-pad or something along those lines.

For those who don't know what the Mighty Mouse is, here's a pic:

So what do you think it is?

514 of them are by me.

But seriously, has there been a topic in awhile having to do with what people think the Revolution controller will look like? Last one I remember was in March or so.

The same shape as the average Nintendo controller (loosely rectangular, or upside-down U shaped) with simplified or multi-functional buttons.

I used to think it have, like a small digital screen black screen, and depending on the game you wre playing, the buttons on the screen would change their look and function. Then I remembered the L, R, and Z buttons, and threw out that idea.

What I'd like:
Gloves

What I think we'll get:
A controller like LEGO. We have the buttons and Sticks and D-Pads and can build our own controller.
e.g. for NES games you replace the Analogue stick with a D-Pad.

Standard controller (2 sticks, 4 face buttons, shoulder buttons), with gyro input and gyro feedback. Some wierd layout for the face buttons too, again.

A mouse!?

Oh god no.

Nintendo is smarter than that. Using a mouse as their controller would be stupid.

Nintendo's done it a few times, namely the SNES mouse, and the 64DD mouse.

MY POINT EXACTLY

Actually, the N64DD mouse was sold with the system, and required for most games.

And it didn't fair too well did it?

I've never even heard of the system.

The Nintendo 64 Dynamic Drive was an attachment to the Nintendo 64, and for what it was, it did okay in sales. It was going to come to the states, but it ended up just being released in Japan.
The 64DD was also one of the first mass-marketed systems to ever have online play.

So therefore it was an attachment to an attachment.

Okay.
