Fall is here (pretty close if not), and everything in the garden is geting ripe.
gonna be picking it all soon,

Then comes my favorite part of it all.
We go on a pickleing frenzy! soveryhappy.gif
anything that dosent get stored in the freezer, gets pickled.

cuecombers,(your usuall pickle)
cabbage,
garlic,
corn,
jalapenios,
bell peppers,
green tomatos, (red ones turn to mush if you try)

we even go as far as eggs and hot dogs if we have enugh brine left (usually if we dont have the brine left we'll get an extra just for this)

i hope my chickens start laying again soon.
im looking forward to pickled eggs.

Pickled Nite? laugh3.gif

Joking besides, its all of a sudden gotten colder than it was before, like i could nearly do with my coat again in a week or 2!

We used to have a crapload of nettles hijacking the garden, until my DIY & ' manual labour is fun ' made family made me dig it all up this summer! sad.gif
The one good thing from them, we'd get berries in Augest! soveryhappy.gif
