technically they have to have made a game in that form for it to be mario in a style from another game that he was not in. <:\

First of all, I was talking about the idea of allowing unofficial game styles in general. Second of all, "noise" nothing. The only disruption in this topic was brought in with your rude reply. And if you consider my reply rude in the least, well sorry to have offended you but it's the truth.

I have to side with SP a bit. Offical games are better because it's more limited. And it could be any style.

The thing about allowing sprites styled like an unofficial game is that it effectively turns this into a "Super Mario Bros." comp as opposed to a comp about doing sprites in another style. Since...I could just make up something right now, like I could say I'm gonna make a game called Super Mario and the Adventures in John Madden's Anus and then create a style for that game and BAM, I suddenly have the ability to sprite Mario in any style I want

New entry since Klobber pretty much declared mine ineligible. Sorry to Guinea and Klobber if this may have caused any problems. I also apologize to any members actually participating in the competition if they felt my prior entry was unfair and breaking any rules.

Hold on a second...we can enter in other characters too? If that's teh case, then I'm entering the Toad LttP sprites I made a couple of days ago, and still working on them.

Oh well, before you all start quarreling about Kitsune's sprites, I'll say something:
I realized that it would be really unfair if he made Mario sprite-edits from his own style. Not because it's his own style but because he didn't make a game. That are only sprites, no game, so it is NOT allowed.

But Kitsune already made new entries so everything will be fine.
Sorry Kitsune, I didn't think about that...

Well I think I finished Mario and Luigi, I didn't make the hurt or dead poses because I couldn't make them look right and didn't bother with the throwing sprites.

It's kew. It wasn't much trouble at all making the new sprites anyway. At least now I won't have people ceaslessly peeing down my throat as they usually do.

I wouldn't say the best but very high up on the list.
