Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, I don't think there's a topic yet (#19)

Tim Burton has done it again. While it wasn't better then Nightmare, did you really expect it to be? Can you even compare the two equally in the end? I can't. Nightmare has always been one of my favorite movies.
The movie is short. (1 hr. 15 min.) And I mean so short, you feel a little ripped off in the end. Not that it should stop you from enjoying the movie. It's actually a lot funnier then Nightmare and more cartoony. (But still ever as violent) It's songs are pretty good but nothing you'll remember the words too right away or hum on the way home. At least, not for me. There were a lot of references, funny parts and cleaver tie ups in the story and I must say it did out do Nightmare there. Yes, as you may expect the animation is better but still not incredibly clear.

The movie was great for a nice trip back to this style of animation and it's another classic Tim Burton has brought us.

I give it an 8.......out of 10.

No, if there were any they were too quick to notice on the first viewing.

Aw Because I heard Jack was Supposed to be in it since Skeletons are Mostly in it.

I said the exact same thing. I don't think anyone expected this to be better than Nightmare, and it's almost unfair to compare the two.

I did love the movie though. And there is ONE thing that's better than nightmare, and that's that the stop motion animation has gotten TONS better since then.

I saw it on sunday.


I thought it was really good, but the songs were a disappointment, they weren't nearly as unique or interesting as Nightmare Before Christmas's. I liked whatever they did to make the "skin" of the human characters look more realistic.

I was honestly disappointed by it. Like Fanguy said, the songs were disappointing (except Bonejangles' song), the plot was average, and I think the ending cuts off way too abruptly.

Yup. But that's not ethier's fault.
