I'll be honest here. When I saw this trailer several months ago I thought, how the hell can someone lose a kid on a plane, no one notice, and been told she's been dead for weeks. I've even made several jokes out of it.
Well I'm willing to take back some of what I said, but not all. Flightplan was much better then expected but there are SO MANY PLOT HOLES. The ending leaves you wondering what happened as in how did it happen. Some might say that this is a good thing in movies. This was not the case this time. The movie starts out confusingly but regains itself in the first half hour. However she loses her daughter mighty fast, but I guess it should be like that since it's an hour and a half movie. Jodie Foster is good at being stressed out, sometimes too good. Even if her daughter is missing. Peter Sarsgaard, a no name actor, is very good as well. And yay for Sean Bean who didn't play a bad guy this time. (He even is terrified of flying in real life)
As I said before the script is pretty bad and that's what brings the movie down. In fact the whole idea was bad in my opinon. But anyway the actors made the best of it they could.
